As a self-taught artist born in Wisconsin, I cultivated my love for drawing, and began developing my own style and skills at the age of 10.  I continued my focus on art, working with various mediums through my teenage years as well.  After 30 years of life's adventures away from painting, I returned to the paint brush and easel in 2017, and. moved to Oklahoma in 2021, to finally pursue my dream of painting full-time. 

 

I consider myself to be extremely lucky to be a full-time artist, who loves finding inspiration for my work through personal passions, life experiences and emotions.  I feel painting in the realist style, capturing the play of light, along with my love of detail helps to draw the viewer into my work, connecting with them on an emotional and intimate level.    

 

After exhibiting my work for the first time in 2023, I have had the privilege of being featured in various group and gallery exhibitions in Oklahoma, and National competitions.  As a proud member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), the Portrait Society of America and the Tulsa Artists' Coalition (TAC), I continually strive to push myself as an artist, and enjoy being a part of this creative community.
